The Stad Lokeren, granted us the order for the new retractable grandstand for The Tower Hall, part of CC Lokeren. The previous grandstand was at the end of its technical life cyclus and could no longer offer the security and comfort for the audience and theatre staff.
During July and August we took out the old retractable grandstand and started the installation of the new one. This new grandstand is equipped with full automatic operated seats, a blessing for the operational staff to to prevent unnecessary physical labour. Opening or closing can be done in less then 10 minutes with 1 person only.
The new grandstand is of course propulsed with the rigid chain system for opening and closing the platforms. In the same movement with opening the chairs are put upwards and ready for use. When closing the grandstand, the seats are folded down in a secured and guided movement.
Photos of final result will follow in a few weeks! For now some impressions during installation.
